Accessibility Ambassadors Campaign (AAC)
The Accessibility Ambassadors Campaign (AAC) is a dynamic, volunteer-led movement designed to drive practical, everyday disability inclusion across Nigerian schools, workplaces, markets, and communities. Powered by a nationwide network of passionate advocates, the program shifts the narrative from passive awareness to immediate grassroots action—equipping individuals to identify barriers. Rather than waiting for systemic changes, this initiative empowers individuals to become champions of change within the spaces they know best, initiating vital conversations, identifying structural barriers, and inspiring simple, localized actions that make everyday environments welcoming for everyone.
To ensure our nationwide network is fully equipped for maximum impact, the DADE Initiative provides all registered ambassadors with a comprehensive suite of resources. This includes the official Accessibility Engagement Toolkit, volunteer guidance materials, and structured field reporting templates. Through these tools, volunteers are trained to move communities past passive awareness and into meaningful, everyday action.
As implementation begins across the country, our growing network of Accessibility Ambassadors will be leading localized awareness sessions and institutional engagements. This campaign reflects DADE Initiative's deep commitment to grassroots mobilization, proving that creating truly inclusive communities begins with our collective everyday actions.
