DADE Initiative Officially Launches NILA E-Learning Platform to Advance Inclusive Education

📅 July 21, 2026

OGUN, NIGERIA — In a major milestone for digital inclusion, the DADE Initiative has officially rolled out the National Inclusive Learning Accelerator (NILA), an innovative e-learning platform developed to standardize and advance inclusive education frameworks across Nigeria.

The digital learning ecosystem is designed to provide high-quality, accessible training modules for educators, practitioners, and community advocates. Alongside the platform rollout, DADE Initiative has successfully onboarded its first cohort of Inclusive Education Mobilizers tasked with driving community-level awareness, enrollment, and engagement nationwide.

Throughout July, the technical and training teams finalized critical platform accessibility upgrades and interactive course materials. Additionally, work has commenced on a new Accessibility Audit Toolkit designed to help educational institutions evaluate and structurally upgrade their learning environments to accommodate students with disabilities.

The launch of the NILA portal marks a critical step forward in moving national disability policies into everyday classroom practice.
