Prioritizing the Unseen Load — DADE Initiative Launches Mindset & Resilience Program

The DADE Initiative is proud to announce a vital expansion of its support services with the launch of the Mindset & Resilience Program.

Recognizing that physical accessibility is only one part of the journey, this new initiative focuses on the critical mental and emotional fortitude required by Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across Nigeria.

Addressing the Mental Load
Navigating society, managing health, and chasing personal goals while living with a disability requires immense strength. Often, the mental toll of these daily challenges—affectionately dubbed the "Nigerian Factor"—goes unaddressed.
This program seeks to change that by providing a dedicated wellness space designed specifically for the PWD community.

Expert-Led Support
The program is led by Deborah Jacobs, a Nigeria and Canadian recognized counselor and medical specialist.
Under her guidance, participants are offered a safe, judgment-free environment to offload stress and build the resilience needed to refocus on their aspirations.

What the Program Offers
This initiative moves beyond generic lectures, offering a personalized support journey:

* Private 1-on-1 Sessions: Confidential virtual consultations with expert practitioners to discuss unique personal challenges.

* Actionable Strategies: Practical tools for managing anxiety, boosting self-esteem, and navigating systemic hurdles.

* Guaranteed Privacy: A core pillar of the program is absolute confidentiality, ensuring every session remains a secure space for the participant.

A Foundation for Success
The DADE Initiative believes that a healthy mind is the engine of success. By offering this free mental health counseling, the organization is ensuring that its community members don't have to carry the heavy load of advocacy and survival alone.

How to Join
Participation is free, but because the DADE Initiative prioritizes quality, individualized care, space for this pilot phase is limited.
